Payment in installments

We believe you should be able to get what you love without breaking your budget. That’s why we offer Shop Pay Installments, a flexible payment solution that allows you to split your purchase into smaller, manageable payments.

How It Works

When you choose Shop Pay at checkout, you can opt to pay in installments. Depending on your order total, you will generally see two options:

1. 4 Interest-Free Payments: Split your purchase into 4 equal payments made every two weeks. This option has $0\%$ interest and no additional fees.

2. Monthly Installments: For larger purchases, you can choose monthly payment plans (interest rates may apply depending on eligibility).

Eligibility Requirements

To use Shop Pay Installments, you must meet the following criteria:

• Residency: You must reside in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom.

• Age: You must be at least 18 years old (or 19 in specific regions such as Alabama or British Columbia).

• Shop Pay Account: You must have a registered Shop Pay account.

• Order Value: Your order total (including taxes and shipping) must fall within these ranges:

  • $35 to $30,000 USD (USA)

  • $35 to $30,000 CAD (Canada)

  • £50 to £30,000 GBP (UK)

Accepted Payment Methods

• You can use supported debit or credit cards.

• Note: Monthly payment plans typically require a credit card. In the UK, only debit cards are supported.

• Important: Prepaid cards and credit cards from Capital One or Chase are currently not accepted.

Key Things to Know

• Credit Impact: Choosing the "4 interest-free payments" option does not affect your credit score. For monthly installment plans, Affirm may perform a credit check which could impact your score.

• Total Transparency: You will see your exact payment schedule before you complete your purchase. There are no hidden fees or late fees (though late payments may affect your future eligibility).

• Shipping: Available only for shipping addresses within the supported countries (excludes U.S. territories like Puerto Rico).

• Exclusions: Installments cannot be used to purchase gift cards or subscription-based products.
